This is my first time writing a book and I am SO glad I chose Wayne. I love his art. He really brings the story to life in ways I never thought of. Wayne is great to work with. He had some great suggestions that really improved the story, but was never pushy and always open to new thoughts. He was very patient. I never felt like I was asking too much, or rushed in anyway. Wayne just seems like a great person. Fun sense of humor and really enthusiastic. I think he was more excited about how the book was coming than I was at some points, which made it feel like a team. When I started this book adventure, I didn't tell any of my family or friends, however, after I started getting Wayne's drafts I couldn't help but share with friends and family since he really is what made my book something I am proud of. If I ever write another picture book I will definitely go straight to Wayne.

Cat Reilly

This is a style I developed working in the animation and game industry used to iterate character designs. I use this when the project needs a touch of the 3 dimensional. Many a rolling hill in the background.

This is the style that I have been developing and improving since I was 16 years old. I’m working in a maximum of two planes wherever possible. Things in the background are only added when essential to the story. They are often drawn on the same horizon line as the main focal character and adjusted in size to create depth. This is how comics were done originally and is my favourite way to work.
